Shelter Stars
The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia will be holding a “Shelter Stars” Adoption Special from now until Sunday, March 4. During the special, the adoption fee for canines in the HSNEGA Large Dog room and all felines 6 months and older will be just $25 each.
Keep in mind, that includes vet check, shots and spaying or neutering. What a wonderful opportunity to find a forever friend! The HSNEGA is located at 845 West Ridge Road in Gainesville. For more info, call 770-532-6617.

Whatcha Eatin'?
One of my favorite Weight Watchers recipes is Pumpkin Brownies. Before you make a face and scroll on down, please hear me out. You don't taste the pumpkin- I promise. It ends up being sort of a cross between brownies and fudge...and only 2 points each!
1 package dark chocolate brownie mix with walnuts (I use Ghiradelli's)
1 can pumpkin (not pie filling- just pumpkin)
That's all.
Stir the two ingredients together and spoon into mini muffin tins either lined with paper cups or sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 36.
Enjoy.
