Each week, we'll be doing cash buying for one area in the shop that really needs inventory. This week, it's PLUS SIZES.Here's how it works... bring your plus size fashions (size 1X/18 and up) that are in perfect condition. We'll buy them for cash. You can bring in other clothing and accessories as well- we'll buy them for credit as usual.
Swimsuits, especially for men and boys. Folks are going over to the Frances Meadows Center to swim, only to discover that they can't be admitted if they're not wearing a REAL swimsuit. Shorts just don't cut it. So...be sure to bring in all your surplus swimsuits when you come in to trade.
Shoes, always shoes.
Ditto for scrubs.

Camp Cocoon is a weekend camp for children and youth, ages 5-17, who have experienced the death of a loved one. Campers have the opportunity to meet peers who are going through similar loss situations. They share their stories and learn from each other while having fun in a safe and caring environment.
The camp is fully staffed by healthcare professionals consisting of doctors, chaplains, nurses, administrators, hospice providers and nursing home directors, many doubling in their camping roles as moms and dads. This year's session is from August 7-9 at Camp Chattooga, adjacent to Athens Y Camp, Tallulah Falls, Georgia.

Apple Raisin French Toast Strata
This is a simple but elegant way to make breakfast fast. Assemble it the night before and bake while you're in the shower.
INGREDIENTS
1 (1 pound) loaf cinnamon raisin bread, cubed
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, diced
1 cup diced peeled apples
8 eggs
2 1/2 cups half-and-half cream (I use soy milk and it works just fine)
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
Coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange 1/2 of the cubed raisin bread in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle the cream cheese evenly over the bread, and top with the apples. If you like extra raisins, add them now. Top with remaining bread.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the cream, butter, and maple syrup. Pour over the bread mixture. Cover with plastic wrap, and press down so that all bread pieces are soaked. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
