Good Morning!
(Note from Teressa: I really DO know
how to format text and images. For some reason, however, Blogspot will not
cooperate. So if it looks won

well, I come by it naturally! ~Teressa)

Dr. Mom
Nobody is naysaying the wonders
of modern medicine—what would we do without a medication like penicillin to
treat infections? But, as it turns out, everyday items have secret curing
powers, too. Next time you don’t want to fork over money to get a common wart
removed, consider using duct tape. Already popped two aspirin but can’t get rid
of the headache? A pencil could do the trick. Click here get
medical explanations behind a few bizarre—albeit brilliant—MacGyver-esque home
remedies.
Shall we
dance?
I've never met a flashmob I didn't
like- whether they're singing music from "Les Mis" at a wedding or "Hallelujah
Chorus " in a food court, I just love it. This is a flash waltz- Tchaikovsky's
Waltz of the Flowers at the new Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower in
Jerusalem. Doctors, patients and passers-by joined in the fun.
The surprise concert was part of Good Deeds
Day, an annual event that originated in Israel in 2007 and now takes place in
over 50 countries worldwide. Bravissimo!
Whatcha
eatin'?
Nix those suspicions that good, homemade food comes
with an exorbitant price tag. This
article shows exactly the opposite, actually. If we roll up our sleeves and
make homemade pasta, cookies, or just about any other food, it costs a whole lot
less than buying the pre-made versions. Not to mention the pride of putting a
from-scratch meal on the table.
