Good morning!

There's a touch of fall in the early morning air. Here at Next to New, we're busy, busy, busy putting out great fall fashions. Now's the time to pick up awesome coats, jackets, long sleeve tops and sweaters for very little moola. To make it even more enticing...

What's on sale this week?

Let's do the Wild Card Sale. Pick a card to find out where your 30% off discount is. It could be pants and shorts, shoes and bags, infant wear, dresses and sets, even storewide...who knows?

And we believe in do-overs. If you don't like your first card, feel free to draw again!

New Columns!

My husband, Arthur, and I each write twice-a-month columns for the Gainesville Times.

His deal with computing and technology issues. Mine deal with whatever strikes my fancy.

His latest was published on September 12th. Click here to read Arthur's piece on the art of returning faulty electronics. My September 4th column is about the great folks at East Hall Middle School. Click here to read it.

What your doctor doesn't have time to tell you

Do you sometimes feel as if going to a doctor's office is like going through a revolving door: in, swoosh-blur, out? You fight traffic to get there, wait a while in the waiting room, wait a while in the exam room, get seen, get dressed and get out. But once you've gone, you realize you're missing something -- maybe a small piece of helpful information. Clic
k
here to see some insider tips from medical specialists who tell you what your doctor doesn't have time to tell you in that all-too-brief appointment. (Hey, Dr. Bob, I'm not talking about YOU here! tg)
