New Columns!

My husband, Arthur, and I each write twice-a-month columns for the Gainesville Times.

His deal with computing and technology issues. Mine deal with whatever strikes my fancy.

His latest was published on September 12th. Click here to read Arthur's piece on the art of returning faulty electronics. My September 4th column is about the great folks at East Hall Middle School. Click here to read it.

What your doctor doesn't have time to tell you

Do you sometimes feel as if going to a doctor's office is like going through a revolving door: in, swoosh-blur, out? But once you've gone, you realize you're missing something -- maybe a small piece of helpful information. Clic
k
here to see some insider tips from medical specialists who tell you what your doctor doesn't have time to tell you in that all-too-brief appointment. (Hey, Dr. Bob, I'm not talking about YOU here! tg)
