Morning, everybody!
Thanks for making our First Friday Sale the most successful ever! Now we're full speed ahead with our summer inventory. Each day we're putting out hundreds of new items, so check in often.

Thinking about cleaning out your closets? Please do it NOW. We have extra hands in the shop for the next few weeks--Rachel's learning the resale biz--so we'd love to take a look at your like-new fashions. Remember, we buy for credit in the shop from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday- Thursday. No appointment necessary, so come on over!

What's on Sale?

Let's do the Wild Card Sale this week...you remember how it works: we have cards labeled with different 30% off departments-ladies' tops, infantwear, dresses, menswear...you get the idea. One card even wins you 30% off of your entire purchase.

New Columns!

My husband, Arthur, and I each write twice-a-month columns for The Times here in Gainesville. His deal with computing and technology issues. Mine deal with whatever strikes my fancy.

His latest was published on May 29. Click
here to read Arthur's preventing malware and spyware.

My May 28th column is about teaching moments we have as parents and the KKK. Click here to see it.

Also, last Wednesday, The Times ran an article about resale shopping in the current economy. It's introduced a lot of new people to resale shopping--and to N2N. Click here to take a look

Now Showing...

One of my favorite family activities in the summer is attending outdoor movies. There are a couple coming up soon here in Gainesville:

First, there's the Front Lawn Featurette on the front lawn of First Baptist Church on Green Street. It's a screening of "The Blind Side" at 8 p.m. on June 10. For more info, call 770-534-7354

Then, The Arts Council's Movies on the Green will present "Avatar" at dusk on June 17 at the Smithgall Arts Center, 331 Spring St., Gainesville. Admission is $2 adults, $1 students.

See you there!

Happy Blues

Now that blueberries are finally affordable, it's time to stock up. Flash freeze them by pouring clean, dry blueberries in a single layer on a cookie sheet. freeze overnight and then package in freezer bags. They won't clump together and you'll have plenty of this luscious fruit when the prices go back up this winter.

Click here to find a mouth-watering selection of recipes featuring blueberries.

A Masterpiece in Minutes

It took six days for a group of Buddhist monks to create an extravagant sand mandala at Emory University in Atlanta.

But you can watch the entire process in about two minutes thanks to time-lapse video- click here.

Remember to bring in your plastic grocery bags to recycle and register to win a $25.00 store credit. May's winner was Cindy Furlow. Congratulations, Cindy!

Get a $5.00 store credit any time you bring us a new shopper. It's easy. Just bring in your friends who've never tried N2N shopping. When they check out at the register, we'll give YOU a $5.00 credit on the spot.

Let's work to get the word out: friends don't let friends shop retail!

...and don't forget Senior Discount Day- each Monday, everyone 55 and over gets 30% off their cash purchases.

Since the economy began it's precipitous nosedive, N2N has been doing all of it's buying in exchange for credit in the shop. That move has kept us solvent and in business while so many other shops have folded.

Now, we've decided to stick our toes back into the cash buying waters...
Here's how it works: for cash, we're purchasing only name brand, mall brand and better fashions. We're only taking in-season pieces (spring/summer). They must be in perfect condition and have been bought new less than 3 years ago.

Just give me a call at the shop (770-534-9070) or on my cell (770-539-1911) I'll need to set up an appointment since I'm currently the only one who is doing the cash buying. I'm giving preference to areas of the shop that have the quickest turn-over in inventory- plus sizes, maternity, men's casual wear, shoes and toddler sizes.

Of course, we're still continuing the store credit buying and the amount we pay is about 30% more than the cash.

Cash or store credit- either way, we all win!

Computer Problems?

Computer House Calls will rid your system of viruses and malware and tune up your computer so it runs faster than the day you bought it. He loves to talk tech.
Arthur says there are LOTs of forms of malware circulating on the Internet lately, so be sure your system is protected. drop him a note of give him a call- www.glazerthepctech.com (770) 540-5100

That's it for now. Remember-email goes both ways...
