Last Word
Weekly this 'n' that

We're still collecting both essentials and goodies to send to SSgt Latessa Bortner in Saudi Arabia- last Wednesday we shipped off a huge package full of hard candies, nuts, chips, toiletries and greeting cards. We're going to try to send out a package each week so please remember Latessa when you're in the grocery store- just pick up a non-chocolate treat such as Jolly Ranchers or flavorings for bottled water. You can scroll down to Oct. 17th's blog for a complete wish list.

She received the first package last week and here's what she wrote: "I wanted to tell you I received the awesome box of goodies from you and your friends. We are all enjoying the treats. We really don't want to sound like we require anything in particular though, we are in a relatively safe area and can get some food and sleep everyday. Working 13 hours a day on aircraft engines is a far cry from being the troops in hostile areas on the ground that our aircraft are dropping supplies to. We do however miss the freedoms and luxuries from home, and any little thing that reminds us of it makes us smile :-D Thank you all for the support. It means a lot to us over here!"

Packages will be going out each Wednesday.

Remember to bring in your plastic grocery bags to recycle and register to win a $25.00 store credit. Octobers's winner is ANNA BELLE ILLIEN.

If you'd like to be added to the N2N Hot Flash list and receive freebie and bargain alerts during the week, just email me at
next2new@aol.com.

Each week, we'll be doing cash buying for one area in the shop that really needs inventory. This week, per our friend Sharon's request, it's SHOES.

We'll be buying shoes for cash all week- through Thursday, November 5th. Check next week's newsletter to see what the next buy-for-cash department will be.

Get a $5.00 store credit any time you bring us a new shopper. It's easy. Just bring in your friends who've never tried N2N shopping. When they check out at the register, we'll give YOU a $5.00 credit on the spot.

THEN- at the end of the month we'll hold a drawing of names of everyone who brought us new shoppers. That winner gets a $50.00 store credit. Also, if you brought us the MOST new shoppers, you'll get a $50.00 store credit.

The winner of the $50.00 store credit drawing is JUDY LYNNE SPICER. This month's winner for bringing us the most new shoppers (5!) is ELAINE MINTER. Come on over and get your $50.00 store credits, ladies!

Let's work to get the word out: friends don't let friends shop retail!
