Chag Sameach

Passover begins at Sundown Monday night. Click here to see a wonderful explanation of Passover and the eternal Seder question:"When do we eat?"

A Dog's Tale

Every week, as I write and send out the Next to Newsletter, I watch CBS Sunday Morning. It's smart and interesting and funny...pretty much the perfect show.

Last week the focus was on pets. That's where I saw this wonderful interview with Dean Koontz, the best selling thriller writer who was loved and inspired by his dog, Trixie. Click here to see this sweet, sweet love story.

Peep Show

Each year at Easter time, the Washington Post holds a contest encouraging

readers to create dioramas using a food that is distinctly Easter: Peeps. The results are in. Called Peeps Show, the contest inspired more than 800 entries, some riffing on pop culture, others on current and past events. Click here to see the top entries.

SO Not a Walk in the Park...

We've known Janice Raddatz for years. She's a remarkable lady and now her equally remarkable story, "Riding The Crest: Not a Walk in the Park," is out in book form.

About it, she says: "I rode my horse from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail in six months in 2009, alone. On the journey I encountered wonderful people and characters, every kind of terrain and weather, running out of food...and heartbreaking loss. I rescued someone and was rescued by others. I was challenged to live life and chose to do so."

The book has 234 color pictures in 304 pages. It's available at Hall Book Exchange or you can order it at http://www.Eques-Trek.com.

Janice is also available for speaking engagements that include a slide show of her trip. Contact her at janice.raddatz@gmail.com.

Whatcha eatin' ?

Through Wednesday, Publix has 12 oz. bags of the new Kraft shredded cheeses made with a touch of Philadelphia cream cheese on sale 3/$5.00. This small addition of cream cheese really ratchets up the creaminess factor- you'll love it.

Kraft.com always has great recipes and they've put together some delicious ones featuring their new products. Click here to try Three Cheese Quiche.

Also, click here to get a coupon good for $1.00 off any two bags of cheese.

Message from Arthur:

Arthur says there are many forms of malware circulating the Internet. Some remain hidden in your computer, wreaking havoc with your system. Others appear as bogus utilities, warning you of non-existent problems. Often they will even give you a specific number of issues - something not possible if you hadn't run any scans with that utility. Others yet, are random pop-ups that you can't close. These all must be dealt with immediately. If they disappear on their own, they will return. They are not self-healing. If not eradicated, they will get worse, eventually blocking you from logging on to Windows, in many cases.

Call Arthur at 770-540-5100 or email him at arthur@glazerthepctech.com if you need to set up an appointment. He guarantees his work, has rapid response times and reasonable rates. You've read his columns in the Times, now let him go to work for you.

That's it for now. Remember-email goes both ways...

If you run across any exceptional bargains or impressive new products, let us know. We'll put the word out!

Have a remarkable week!
